On the way, expected mid-april.
Handmade cup, thrown and trimmed on a potters wheel. The clay and glaze materials for these are entirely foraged in Northern California and minimally processed to allow the natural beauty to show through. A dark, rough clay body is used for these, with a white clay slip applied after drying. A simple clear glaze made of local feldspar and wood ash is then applied. The various layers interact to give a rich and varied white-light grey surface with occasional pink flashing known as "gohonde".
Approximately 3.5 tall and holds 8-10oz.
Care: Microwave safe, hand wash recommended.
